Cancer Care & Cure Public Charitable Trust was established in 2017 by Dr. Arvind Kumar, the first DM-qualified Medical Oncologist to return to Bihar after completing his super-specialty training from AIIMS New Delhi. During his training at the Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital (IRCH), AIIMS New Delhi, Dr. Kumar observed that nearly 60–70% of cancer patients seeking treatment were from Bihar. Witnessing the hardships faced by patients and their families who had to travel long distances for quality cancer care inspired him to dedicate his expertise to his home state. After completing his DM in Medical Oncology in 2015, Dr. Kumar returned to Patna with a vision to make advanced cancer treatment accessible and affordable for all. This vision led to the establishment of Cancer Care & Cure Public Charitable Trust and Buddha Cancer Centre. Today, with unwavering commitment and compassionate care, the Trust continues to provide comprehensive, evidence-based cancer treatment, bringing hope and healing to thousands of patients across Bihar and neighboring regions.
