A Story of Courage: Prince Kumar’s Fight Against Blood Cancer

Prince Kumar, a 13-year-old student from Begusarai, was diagnosed with blood cancer. His father, an auto driver, spent over ₹7 lakhs on treatment and even sold his vehicle to save his son’s life. Prince’s education had to pause, but the family never gave up hope.

At just 13 years old, Prince Kumar from Begusarai was living the simple life of a Class 9 student—dreaming of his future and focusing on his studies. But life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with blood cancer. His father, an auto driver, suddenly found himself fighting a battle much bigger than he had ever imagined. Over the past three years, the family moved from one hospital to another in search of hope. The treatment expenses crossed ₹7 lakhs. To continue his son’s treatment, his father had to sell his auto and even take loans. The financial burden was overwhelming, and Prince’s education had to be paused. But the family did not lose hope. With the support of a charitable trust dedicated to cancer care, Prince was taken under compassionate medical supervision. Through the Trust’s assistance, he began receiving treatment free of cost. So far, he has completed six cycles of chemotherapy, and doctors have reported nearly 50% improvement in his condition. Despite the pain, hospital visits, and challenges, Prince’s courage shines brightly. His parents stood strong beside him, refusing to give up. Their resilience is a reminder that even in the darkest times, hope and determination can light the way forward. Today, Prince continues his treatment with renewed strength. His dream is simple yet powerful—to recover fully, return to school, and build a bright future. This journey is not just about medical treatment. It is about courage, community support, and the belief that every child deserves a second chance at life.
